NEW Tomatoberry™
Looks like a berry, tastes like a tomato!

Tomatoberry™ is the latest addition to the Fresh Start™ range of quality, commercial-grade varieties that produce outstanding garden performance without sacrificing on flavour.

New Tomatoberry™ features very sweet, heart-shaped fruit on beautiful long trusses.

Tomatoberry™ fruit ripen from a pinkish-green through to a deep glossy red. They have thin skins, firm flesh and are a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C and the antioxidant lycopene.

Tomatoberry™ plants are tall-growing and high-yielding. Insert a 2m stake at time of planting. For multiple plantings, space seedlings at 30 40cm intervals in rows 1.5-2m apart.

Deliciously sweet Tomatoberry™ will appeals to the whole family in salads, cooking and as a lunchbox treat!

CARROT Little Fingers
‘Daucus carota’

Carrot ‘Little Fingers’ is a sweet gourmet baby carrot with a smooth skin and a small core. Best harvested when young, ‘Little Fingers’ grows 8 9cm in length and 1-2cm in width. Grow in the vegetable patch or in a deep container. This carrot is great fun for kids to grow and a good source of vitamin A.

Position: Full sun to part shade
Plant: 3-5cm apart
Maturity: 4-6 weeks
Uses: Salads and hot dishes


LETTUCE Radicchio
‘Cichorium intybus’

Radicchio has a tangy flavour and may be picked leaf by leaf or harvested as a whole for use in salads. Radicchio is suitable for growing in pots and in garden beds.

Position: Sunny
Plant: 30-35cm apart
Maturity: 6-8 weeks
Uses: Salads, vegetable dishes and pickling


SPRING ONION Red Legs
‘Allium fistulosum’

Spring Onion ‘Red Legs’ is an early maturing variety with strongly flavoured, long red blubs and attractive dark green leaves. It has superior disease resistance, tolerates cold temperatures and has good storage ability. Use in salads and in cooking, particularly in Asian cuisine.

Plant: 3-5cm apart
Height: 35cm approx
Maturity: 12-14 weeks


TOMATO Burnley Bounty
‘Lycopersicon esculentum’

Tomato ‘Burnley Bounty’ is an Australian-bred mid-late season variety that produces medium-sized round, red fruit. This variety requires a 2m stake. Use for salads, cooking and preserving.

Position: Full sun
Plant: 40cm apart, in rows 60cm apart
Height: 1.5-2m approx.
Maturity: 10-12 weeks

Capsicum Long Sweet Yellow
‘Capsicum annuum’ hybrid

Capsicum Long Sweet Yellow is a superior F1 hybrid variety. Its fruit turns from green through yellow to orange-red and is ideal for use in salads, stir fries and pickling.

Position: Full sun
Height: 50-70cm
Spacing: 40-60cm apart
Growing tip: Liquid fertilise regularly
Pot growing tips: Use a container 30cm or more in diameter that has good drainage. For best results use an Australian Standards general purpose potting mix.
