Sold in two-plant pack: either 1 red fruited plant plus bonus
pollinating watermelon plant OR 1 yellow fruited plant plus bonus
pollinating watermelon plant. Watermelon ‘Seedless Red’ and
‘Seedless Yellow’ are vigorous varieties that produce firm, crisp
and wonderfully sweet fruit when grown in partnership with a
pollinating watermelon. Each seedless watermelon seedling comes with
a pollinating watermelon seedling planted into the same pot. The
Seedless Watermelons are oval, have a thin rind and grow to 5 - 7kgs
in weight. The bonus pollinating watermelon plant produces masses of
flowers to encourage fruit set in the Seedless Watermelon. The
pollinator should not be grown more than 5m from the Seedless
variety.
Position: Sunny and open, well drained soil, good air circulation.
Height: Prostrate habit.
Spacing: Plant Seedless Watermelon and pollinator variety 4 - 5m
apart.
Harvest: 11 - 12 weeks.
